The Tascam Portacapture X8 is a new audio recorder that can be used to capture recordings in a simple, intuitive manner thanks to a more smartphone-like interface. The unit is equipped with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display which makes it easier to tap, swipe and gesture for managing how recordings are made. The Tascam Portacapture X8 also only has less traditional knobs and buttons than other devices on the market, which streamlines the user experience. The audio recorder offers six input tracks with the option to add in two mix tracks for full eight-track recordings.
